HPower — Home Services Platform
A full-stack home services marketplace for the UAE, enabling customers to browse trusted service providers, book appointments for plumbing, electrical, AC, cleaning, carpentry and more — across multiple locations, in Arabic and English.
The Business Problem
Homeowners in the UAE needed a reliable way to find and book trusted home service providers — plumbers, electricians, AC technicians, cleaners, and carpenters — without the friction of asking for referrals, waiting for callbacks, or dealing with unvetted contractors.
Service providers, on the other hand, needed a professional platform to market their services, manage bookings, and grow their customer base — in both Arabic and English to serve the UAE's diverse, multilingual population.
The Solution
HPower was built as a full-stack home services marketplace with three interconnected components: a web platform for browsing and booking, a mobile application for on-the-go access, and management dashboards for providers and administrators.

Mobile Application
The HPower Flutter mobile app provides customers with the complete booking experience from their phone — browse service categories, select providers, pick appointment times, track booking status, and manage their service history. Available on both iOS and Android.
Technical Architecture
Next.js with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. Server-side rendering for SEO, dynamic client components for interactivity. Full i18n (Arabic/English) with RTL layout switching.
Flutter with Dart. Single codebase deployed to iOS App Store and Google Play. REST API communication, local storage for session persistence, push notifications via Firebase.
Node.js with Express. RESTful API design with JWT authentication and role-based access control (customer, provider, admin). MongoDB for flexible document storage.
Maps integration for provider location and service area display. Real-time updates for booking status. Multi-location support for providers with multiple branches.
